Do You Need A Vacation, A Holiday?

Do you need a vacation, a holiday? Of course, you do! Some have said that a vacation is a luxury they can't afford: can't afford to take time off work, can't afford the expense. On the contrary, a vacation is necessary for our mental, emotional and physical health.
When you have stagnant energy in your HOUSE and your house feels stuffy, you can break up that energy by opening windows, burning sage or incense, or creating noise with music, clapping or singing.
When you  have stagnant energy in your BODY and you feel you are in a rut or stuck, you get a massage, exercise, a brisk walk, sing, deep breathing, do a cleansing drink, vitamins, or a dietary change, and you dispel negative feelings and symptoms.
A holiday or vacation is one of the best ways to break up stagnant energy in your LIFE! You are treated to new sounds, new sites, new feels! You're in a place that you're not used to and this stimulates all your senses to break up stagnant energy. You hear new traffic patterns, new voices, new accents, new conversations, the crash of waves, the echoes in the city or mountains, new sounds in nature. You see new colors, new architecture, new faces, taste new foods, smell new scents, feel  new temperatures.
And it doesn't have to be costly. It can even be a day-trip or weekend get-away! You return home renewed and refreshed and invigorated to take on every-day responsibilities and new challenges. You begin to look at things differently. Your appreciation and awareness are more focused on things you may have taken for granted before. Your intuition and perception are heightened!
Studies have shown that emotional and mental health affect physical health and job performance. Can you afford to take a vacation? Can you afford NOT to?
A vacation, a holiday, is a necessity for your whole well-being, body, mind and soul!

Becoming Minimalist

I'm becoming a minimalist, reading how to un-complicate my life, down-sizing in possessions, mental clutter and emotional clutter.
For a more peaceful lifestyle, freedom from mental stress, I recommend looking up minimalist living. I'm loving it. It's reminding me of how I felt really free when I had to live on 2 outfits when on a 2-week stay in Russia and Ukraine. I only took 4 outfits/suits, tops and bottoms. But the weather had become unusually hot, so I couldn't wear 2 of them. I had to alternate every day with only 2 outfits. It was great not to have to decide what to wear. I felt a freedom to always know what I was going to wear today, what I was going to wear tomorrow, and so on. I always pack light when traveling, especially European travel, where I have to carry my luggage a long haul through transport stations and walking many steps each day to and from accommodations.
I'm already doing a minimalist wardrobe and downsizing all my drawers, closets and
kitchen. So much there that I don't use, which I was saving for that huge banquet someday. It's too much clutter to keep carrying around like a tortoise shell on your back, and then stacking more on top of that.

Forgive and Forget

Forgive and Forget
Not so easy, eh?

When you have a grievance toward someone, if at all possible, forget it! Dismiss it! Forgive. Forgive yourself for taking it so seriously that it has encumbered your peace. Forgive the other person for not knowing any better. Forgive the “act” for coming into your life to spoil your peace. Forgive the person for not having the ability to understand. Your life and time are too precious to allow the incident to take up space. Give yourself permission to Let Go.

Only if you cannot do this, then go to the person and try to resolve it peacefully.

If that doesn’t resolve things, then Forgive and Let Go. Allow room for peace in your life. Forget it as much as possible. Let Go and move forward not allowing this situation to rob you of any more energy, peace or thoughts. Do not allow this to continue to "control" your life.
Interestingly, in the ancient writings of Greek Holy Scripture, the admonition is to 'forgive one another freely.' There's a healing in this.

1. First Forget It
2. If you cannot forget it, then Address It with the other person
3. If this fails to produce desired results, Forget It and Let It Go. Set yourself Free.
(Forgiveness does not mean that you excuse the other person's behavior. It means that it no longer has a hold on you. Forgiveness sets YOU free. The responsibility of the act, or the debt, now rests with the other person.)

Weed and Root

I help people feel better, live longer and have more time for the things they love.
Spring is here, and you go out to your yard and find dandelions and thistles. You try to pull those things up, but the root is still there and the weed comes back.
I can FIX you with a system that will, not only cut down the weed, but, dig out the root that's blocking your way to success in starting on a life you love.
How would you like to have more pleasure, more time, improve business, increase motivation, improve health, and eliminate stress and anxiety? Have more time for the people you love?
My work involves a system that speeds up healing by getting the weeds out of your life!

Our Factory

The human body is a factory. A factory has to have fuel. So we take in fuel, we feed the factory food. The fuel goes out to run all the different departments, enabling the workers to perform their tasks in the most efficient way. If we put in junk fuel/food, the factory will not run properly. Once fuel is burned up, or junk food is introduced into the system, a waste product remains which has to be eliminated. A factory cannot store waste product indefinitely or the factory will break down. Waste products are eliminated through exhaling, through pores/windows, or through a complex elimination process. Sometimes you see a factory with a flame at the top of a chimney. That is combustible waste being eliminated.

The same is true of our emotional factory. We take in emotional fuel, influences, all day, every day. We are influenced by people, words, feelings, events, all our experiences. Many are good and keep us fed emotionally. A lot consists of junk food, causing hurt feelings, physical aches, fatigue, and other emotional upsets. We tend to store instead of eliminate that emotional waste, so there is a build up of emotional baggage that no longer serves us.

Naturally Restored Holistic Healing was designed to help you in a gentle way to eliminate emotional waste, the effects of emotional junk food, making room for healthy emotions and a life you love.
We FEED our emotional factory with rest, meditation, prayer, loving relationships, good music, art, poetry, hobbies. We take in emotional junk food when there's a divorce, a sad event, a confrontation with another person, abuse, financial set-back, a career failure, a death of a loved one, etc.
Emotional enetgy healing can restore our "factory" and get it up and running in a productive way that frees up energy to invite the things we love into our lives. The result is an emotional "factory" that produces love, harmony and forgiveness, as well as, success in other areas of our lives.

Emotions and Well-Being, Ancient Evidence

Here's a little gem I discovered in some reading material to provide ancient support on the relationship between nerves, muscles, muscle response and health. This is useful information in connection with the "modern" practice in holistic circles using applied kinesiology/muscle testing.

Many aspects of modern medicine may not be as modern as some think. In fact, a number of today's common medical practices were already in place centuries ago in some lands. Consider, for example, the history of medicine in medieval times in the Middle East.
... Avicenna, a leader in the medical field, hailed from Bukhara, in modern Uzbekistan. He became one of the great physicians, philosophers, astronomers and mathematicians of the 11th century. Avicenna wrote an encyclopedia, The Canon of Medicine, which covered the whole range of known medical knowledge.
Avicenna stated in his Canon that tuberculosis is contagious, that disease can spread through water and soil, that emotions affect physical well-being, and that nerves transmit both pain and impulses for muscle contraction.
So, the art of muscle testing, applied kinesiology, is based on historical writings and discoveries of medical men from early times.
