Becoming Minimalist

I'm becoming a minimalist, reading how to un-complicate my life, down-sizing in possessions, mental clutter and emotional clutter.
For a more peaceful lifestyle, freedom from mental stress, I recommend looking up minimalist living. I'm loving it. It's reminding me of how I felt really free when I had to live on 2 outfits when on a 2-week stay in Russia and Ukraine. I only took 4 outfits/suits, tops and bottoms. But the weather had become unusually hot, so I couldn't wear 2 of them. I had to alternate every day with only 2 outfits. It was great not to have to decide what to wear. I felt a freedom to always know what I was going to wear today, what I was going to wear tomorrow, and so on. I always pack light when traveling, especially European travel, where I have to carry my luggage a long haul through transport stations and walking many steps each day to and from accommodations.
I'm already doing a minimalist wardrobe and downsizing all my drawers, closets and
kitchen. So much there that I don't use, which I was saving for that huge banquet someday. It's too much clutter to keep carrying around like a tortoise shell on your back, and then stacking more on top of that.
